Welcome back and keeping safe
After being open for the summer, following the reintroduction of lockdown in England we are now again closed. We look forward to welcoming you back in December.
We understand you may be concerned about venturing out again, so we wanted to detail the steps we've put in place to keep you safe, and maintain our accreditation with Visit Britain.
General
To limit contact between guests and staff, a one way system will be in operation through the building from the bar door to the front door. Guests should arrive at the bar door (shown in the picture below), from where you'll be directed towards a table inside or outside.
We've added hand sanitiser stations for guests at each entrance to the building and we'll be collecting contact information from guests to support the Governments track and trace system. These details will be collected using an online form in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and removed after a minimum period of 21 days. If you'd prefer to leave you details on paper, we will offer this as an alternative or please use the NHS Track and Trace app.
Toilets and door handles will be disinfected half hourly.
Contactless electronic payment is encouraged.
Bar and Restaurant
We'll be providing table service only for guests and visitors. Please do not visit the bar which will need to be kept clear for staff.
Each table will be set specifically for your party – no cutlery or place settings will be laid out in advance, and each table will be thoroughly disinfected after each sitting.
Our food and drink menus have been added to our website and in such a way that makes them easy to read on your mobile phone or tablet device. We can also provide wipe down menus that will be disinfected after each use.
All cutlery and condiments will be delivered to the table, and staff delivering food and collecting plates will wear face masks.
Overnight Guests
Each room will be deep cleaned after each guest stay. Room cleaning during a stay will be at the discretion of the guest.
The breakfast buffet will be replaced with table service for the time being, and we would ask that you pre-book your meal times with our team.
