Picture this: Enter our photo competition and win a £100 voucher for the Three Shires Inn

It’s that exciting time of year when Little Langdale begins showing the first signs of spring.

The crocuses and primroses are flowering, the daffodils are out and the first lambs are tumbling around in the fields outside the Three Shires Inn. There is a sense of expectation in the air that soon warmer weather, long nights and all the joys of summer will be with us.

To celebrate we’re launching our spring photo competition, challenging people to get out their cameras and capture their best picture of the season in the Lake District.

From now until the end of June, we’re asking you to post the best pictures you can on social media with the hashtag #threeshiresphotos. We will monitor the hashtag and at the end of May we’ll pick our favourite. The winning photographer will receive a £100 voucher towards either a meal or accommodation at the Three Shires Inn.

We’ll leave the subject matter of the photography up to you. All we ask is to capture the best image you can which sums up spring in the Lake District.
