It was like somebody turned a tap on in the Lake District on April 12. All of a sudden visitors began flowing back in and, frankly, we’ve been manic ever since.
Little Langdale is again full of walkers and cyclists and we’ve been happy to welcome people from all over the country back to the inn. Hundreds and hundreds have come into the garden and verandah for lunches and dinners and numbers have been well up compared to normal. We’re really proud of the way our team have got back to work after such a long break and we’re looking forward to what should be a fun and very busy summer.
The next big step for us is welcoming back overnight guests and serving meals indoors on May 17. We can’t wait to reveal our newly refurbished Crinkle Crags and Swirl How rooms, as well as our first dog-friendly suite Busk Pike.
So far rooms are filling up fast, so book quickly if you want to come and stay with us this summer!
