February in the Valley

This weekend (26th January) we re-open our doors after a couple of weeks off which we have used to carry out work throughout the hotel and to enable us to take some much needed time off. We will be open for lunches everyday from Friday 26th January and evening meals for the Friday and Saturday night of this weekend only until 2nd February when we will be fully re-open every evening.

The first signs are sping are starting to show, with snowdrops appearing and daffodils popping their heads up (it’ll be a few weeks before they are fully out)! Don’t let the recent weather put your plans to explore the Lake District on hold, it certainly hasn’t stopped us! The last few weeks have seen snowy days picture perfect dayss and those brave enough have even made the most of the snowy conditions to enjoy plenty of snowsports on the high tops! The rain shouldn’t days stop you exploring as every great Lakeland walk should include a great cafe or pub to warm up in and don’t forget to ask us for our recommendations.

Our Early Season 3 night Bed & Breakfast offer is still available to you starting from £210 per room per stay midweek!

Little Fell cottage sleeps 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children and is perfectly located 500m down the road from the Inn; the perfect place for a few days exploring. We have a some short breaks available for February half term in Little Fell cottage starting from £390.
