Not for the feint hearted, this enormous circular challenge offers a full day's riding covering over 110 miles of roads weaving around and over the Lake District fells.
The Fred Whitton annual sportive challenge takes place in May and is organised by the Lakes Road Club, in memory of Fred Whitton who died at the age of 50 in 1998.
The route passes the front door of the Three Shires Inn, so booking in for a couple of nights with us provides you with the perfect base for this challenge anytime of the year.
